When we travel throughout the world we are often attracted to the dining, accommodations and activities within resort areas. Many of these various businesses provide their services to travelers by hiring many local residents. We may or may not realize that beyond the isolated tourist resorts and attractions there is very often poverty, hunger, and depression coupled with a spirit of emptiness and hopelessness. Often these areas remain hidden as to not distract from the relaxation and enjoyment of travelers. Despite these efforts, many of us have still seen this poverty and the hopelessness in the eyes of many of these people and have wondered how we might get involved and help.
God has given ALL of us gifts and talents that we need to put to use in the servicing of God’s Kingdom, gifts such as teaching, serving, prayer/intercession and skills such as carpenters, engineers, doctors, nurses, laborers, cooks, cleaners, artists, musicians, etc. God tells us to
“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
Our mission trips fulfill this directive. By bringing the many blessings God has already given us and giving it away to others in need. In partnership with local ministries we will be informed of the specific local needs that we can bring supplies to meet, such as clothing, food, etc. We will always have Bibles. We will bring our love, testimonies of God’s work in our lives, and our hands reaching out to minister and serve!!
As divers, we are traveling to these fabulous diving locations and getting an opportunity to experience the true WONDERS of God’s creations underwater. Now, we get to show God’s wonders and love and service to many people “above” the water and in the same location where we travel to dive.
God many times put things together in such a PERFECT way; they fit like “hand and glove.”
MISSION WORK AND DIVING…………..GET EXCITED ………AND LET’S GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(W.C.S.D.O.) is a non-profit organization desiring to help people in
need on every trip organized for our members. We all have unique
individual and corporate callings. W.C.S.D.O. wants to combine these
callings and talents to restore, rebuild, enlighten and excite a world
that is devoid of hope, joy, salvation, a future and a home. The
W.C.S.D.O. wants to bring the message of God's love and His promises to
people in desperate need.
